Job Details

We are seeking a Project Manager for residential, single-family new construction in Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional people skills and ability to form trusting, lasting relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Out of the box style thinking, adaptable, and ability to think quickly and provide solutions in challenging situations
  • Collaborative, team player willing to pitch and contribute in order to ensure customer satisfaction and project completion
  • Construction experience specifically in project and site management
  • Construction management software proficiency and ability to new learn software programs quickly

Excellent people skills

  • Highly organized, ability to prioritize, and ensure prompt follow through

Responsibilities:

  • You will be running 5 to 10 jobs at any given time throughout Southern Michigan and Northern Indiana
  • Build, generate, and implement schedules for each project
  • Identify, coordinate, and source subcontractors to ensure the work is completed on time and within budget
  • Complete inspections and jobsite visits during construction and conduct final walk-through with customer
  • Document project progress, provide reports, and conduct progress meetings with the customer
  • If needed, deliver materials to the site
  • Create and coordinate completion of punch-list and service work
  • Expect to drive around 450 miles a week on average.
