Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Our client is a full-service public accounting and business consulting firm located in Johnston, RI, provides accounting, audit, tax, consulting, bookkeeping and related services to a diverse client base of businesses and individuals throughout Southern New England.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking dedicated self-starting team players with a strong tax background to lead tax engagements for privately held clients in a variety of industries. 4+ years of recent public accounting experience required, CPA a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working directly with clients, you will prepare, and possibly review, business AND individual tax returns.

• Mentor junior associates

• Complete complex tax research.

• Assist in audit engagements.

• Prepare financial statements.

• Develop and cultivate professional relationships.

Skills/Experience:

• The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.

• Interact professionally with clients and all levels of staff.

• Familiarity with Microsoft products and accounting software preferred (Lacerte tax

software proficiency is a plus).

• Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing/tax standards

• CPA or CPA candidate a plus but not required
