Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Are you passionate about the environment and have a keen interest in legal matters? We are seeking a dynamic, qualified, and experienced Environmental Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. As an Environmental Attorney, you will play a vital role in handling all legal issues related to the environment. This includes advising on compliance with environmental laws, representing the company in civil lawsuits, and working on regulatory proceedings. • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of environmental issues such as pollution, waste management, natural resources, and biodiversity.
• Represent the company in civil litigation cases related to environmental matters and ensure the best possible legal defense.
• Draft, review, and negotiate environmental agreements and contracts.
• Ensure company operations and policies are in compliance with all environmental laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to minimize potential risks and liabilities.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure efficient and effective legal services.
• Stay updated on current environmental laws and regulations and inform the relevant departments about any changes that could impact the company.
• Work with other departments to develop and implement environmental policies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Environmental Attorney or a similar role in the legal industry.
• Proven experience in civil litigation.
• An active license to practice law in the state.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability.
