Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled, innovative, and experienced CAD Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and CAD drafting, with a focus on 3D modeling and AutoCAD. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The CAD Technician will play a crucial role in the design and development of complex engineering solutions, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
2. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and develop design solutions.
3. Review and revise designs to ensure accuracy and quality, identifying and resolving potential design issues.
4. Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
5. Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
6. Manage and organize CAD files and data, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of design information.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical skills and knowledge.
8. Contribute to the development of CAD standards and procedures to improve design efficiency and quality.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on mechanical design and CAD drafting.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software, with a strong understanding of 3D modeling techniques.
4. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design principles and industry standards.
5. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Continuous learner, willing to stay up-to-date with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends.
10. Ability to provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
