Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals including federal and multi-state tax returns.
- Conducting research on complex tax issues and new legislation to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand and address client needs, providing expert tax advice to help them navigate their financial landscape.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Identifying and mitigating tax risks and liabilities.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and changes in tax laws.
- Providing support during tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
- Assisting with the implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client wealth.
- Managing direct reports and reviewing tax preparations, along with signing off on documents.
- Collaborating directly with C-Suite in reviews, setting goals, and management duties.
- Ability and desire to lead and grow our tax team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting or working with HNWI for tax returns.
- Extensive knowledge of tax regulations and laws.
- Proficiency in tax software (UltraTax experience highly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
