Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Programmer for our Construction industry. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire Alarm programming, service, and installation. The candidate must have strong technical skills in Notifier, Silent Knight, NICET, and NFPA. The candidate must be passionate about their work, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, install and service Fire Alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Provide technical support to the project team and clients.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Fire Alarm systems.
  • Train and mentor junior programmers and technicians.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to project team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire Alarm programming, service, and installation.
  • Certified in Notifier and other manufacturers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and national codes and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
