Salary: $28 - $35 per hour

We are on the lookout for skilled and dedicated Permanent Service Electricians to join our thriving team. We have multiple roles available across various locations in the construction industry. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in industrial and commercial settings, with specific experience in cold storage, tilt/tilt-up construction, and refrigeration. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Service Electrician, your core duties will include:

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Performing general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspecting transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuits wiring for cold storage and refrigeration systems.
9. Working on both Tilt-up construction and traditional commercial construction projects.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Electrician, ideally within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience and understanding of cold storage, tilt/tilt-up construction, and refrigeration.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
5. Exceptional listening and verbal communication skills.
6. Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid license to practice the profession.
