Are you a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate? Are you looking for an opportunity to grow and excel in your career in the legal industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of commercial litigation cases, conducting depositions, arguing motions, and managing construction litigation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes litigation matters and provides a platform for significant client interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed depositions to gather necessary information for cases.
  • Argue motions effectively and persuasively to influence court decisions.
  • Handle construction litigation cases, including contract disputes, construction defects, and delay claims.
  • Develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements on behalf of our clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare case strategy reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide them with case updates.
  • Participate in business development activities including writing and publishing articles and participating in industry associations and conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the state bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Proven experience conducting depositions and arguing motions.
  • Experience in construction litigation is a must.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional client service orientation with an ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, composed manner.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
