Are you a seasoned software engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Do you have a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions that can make a significant impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Permanent Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in building successful commercial SaaS products in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, to join our dynamic team in the technology industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Staff Software Engineer, your primary role will be to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver innovative technology solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and maintaining web applications using Node, React, and other modern technologies.
  2. Collaborating with the founding team and early adopter clients to define, design, and ship new features.
  3. Utilizing GitHub for version control and source code management.
  4. Conducting code reviews and maintaining high standards for code quality and functional performance.
  5. Debugging software applications and implementing fixes and improvements.
  6. Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on architecture, design, coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  7. Providing subject matter expertise with front-end development to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  8. Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and applying them into operations and activities.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Specific qualifications include:

  1. Eager to work in a seed stage startup environment, as one of the first employees hired by the founding team.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node and React.
  3. Experience with tools like Next.js and Tailwind CSS
  4. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  9. Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
