Seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and detail-oriented Trust & Estate Attorney to join our thriving legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the world of estate planning, trusts, and probate law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in the areas of trusts, estates, and probate. This role requires a deep understanding of the law, a passion for helping clients, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive legal counsel on all aspects of estate planning, trust administration, and probate law.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and executing various legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning tools.
  • Representing clients in probate court proceedings and handling all aspects of the probate process, from filing the initial petition to distributing assets to beneficiaries.
  • Advising clients on the tax implications of their estate planning decisions and working to minimize potential tax liabilities.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and staying up-to-date on the latest changes in trust and estate law.
  • Collaborating with other members of our legal team to ensure the highest level of service for our clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in trust and estate law
  • Current license to practice law in Texas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical responsibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
