My client is a leading manufacturing company focused on custom automation and machinery solutions. As they grow, they are looking to add an Electro-Mechanical Technician to their team focused on machine assembly and troubleshooting.

Experience Required - 2 years

Travel - 10%

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Assembly: You will be responsible for the assembly of intricate machinery, ensuring that all parts are correctly fitted and secured.
  2. Mechanical Troubleshooting: You will diagnose and fix mechanical issues, using your problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
  3. Electrical Troubleshooting: You will also tackle electrical problems, identifying and rectifying faults to keep our machinery running at optimum capacity.
  4. Schematic Reading: You will use schematic diagrams as a guide to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair machinery.
  5. Machine Installation: You will oversee the installation of new machines, making sure they are correctly positioned, connected, and calibrated.
  6. Machine Repair: You will carry out regular repairs, replacing worn-out parts, and fixing any damage.
  7. Preventive Maintenance: You will conduct regular checks and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep our machinery in top condition.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in assembly, mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, schematic reading, machine installation, machine repair, and preventive maintenance.
  2. A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to diagnosing and fixing issues.
