Salary: $130,500 - $160,500 per year

Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a proactive, collaborative approach to join our Charlotte, NC office. This role involves contributing to our mission of thought leadership by creating innovative design solutions from the earliest stages of the design process. Additionally, the candidate will play a pivotal role in mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate should have experience in several of the following project types: education, civic/government, financial services, retail, office, interior renovation, high-tech/R&D, mission-critical/data centers, and healthcare.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in designing power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, low voltage/IT systems, lighting, and controls.
  • Registered Electrical Engineer (NCEES record and multiple state licenses are a plus).
  • Expertise in Alternative Energy design is an advantage.
  • Experience with LEED and/or WELL Certified projects (LEED AP/WELL AP certification is a plus).
  • BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in lighting design or Lighting Certification is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
