We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems, ensuring they are in compliance with local and national fire codes. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for safety and an in-depth knowledge of fire suppression systems, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are in proper working order and meet all local and national fire codes.
  2. Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, noting any deficiencies or malfunctions and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
  3. Perform routine maintenance on fire sprinkler systems, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed.
  4. Liaise with construction teams, project managers, and regulatory authorities to ensure all fire safety measures are in place and up to date.
  5. Stay abreast of current fire safety regulations and advancements in fire suppression technology.
  6. Provide training and guidance to construction teams on fire safety best practices and compliance requirements.
  7. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection or a related role in the industry.
  2. Extensive knowledge of sprinkler systems and fire suppression systems.
  3. Possession of a valid Fire Sprinkler License.
  4. NICET Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology – Water-Based Systems Layout or equivalent.
  5. Strong understanding of local and national fire codes and the ability to apply them to practical scenarios.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging conditions.
  10. Commitment to safety and compliance in all aspects of the role.
