We are seeking a seasoned Service Electrician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical troubleshooting, service, and repair. Responsibilities:

As a Service Electrician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
2. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
3. Ensuring compliance with all safety and electrical codes.
4. Providing preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
5. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Training and mentoring junior electricians.
7. Collaborating with construction project managers to plan and execute electrical installations in new constructions or renovations.
8. Responding to emergency call-outs to carry out temporary or permanent repairs.
9. Keeping records of all work performed and parts used for each job.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a specific set of qualifications and skills:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Electrician in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, service, and repair.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
5. Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and other electrical diagrams.
7. Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
8. Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components.
9. A valid electrician's license.
10. A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in electrical engineering or a related field is a plus.
