Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing and managing all onsite construction activities from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Directing and coordinating the activities of subcontractors, ensuring all work is performed according to plans and specifications.
  3. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
  4. Managing and resolving RFIs and other project-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Using project management software such as MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam to plan, track, and report on project progress.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are being met and to identify any potential issues or risks.
  7. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  8. Leading and participating in project meetings, providing regular updates on project status, and communicating any changes or issues to all relevant parties.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry, with a strong track record of successfully completed projects.
  2. Proven experience in managing a range of commercial construction projects, including retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, and fast food chain construction.
  3. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  4. Proficiency in using project management software such as MS Project, or Procore (Plus).
  5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and resolve RFIs and other project-related issues.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  8. A strong attention to detail, with the ability to conduct thorough site inspections and ensure quality standards are being met.
  9. Must be comfortable with required travel throughout California based on project needs.
