We’re searching for a Chief Estimator with a passion for transportation, heavy highway, heavy civil, and federal projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our estimation processes on high-profile projects while shaping the future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
• Utilize your expertise in Design Build (D/B), Construction Management at Risk (CMAR), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methodologies to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with all company standards and industry regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, contributing to their professional growth and development.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, with a focus on heavy civil, transportation, and industrial projects.
• Proven experience with Design Build, CMAR, CMGC, hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methods.
• Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in industry-specific estimation software and advanced Excel skills.
• Natural leader with excellent communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
