We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Audit Director to join our growing Assurance & Advisory team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance, possessing an active CPA license, and a solid understanding of GAAP. This role requires a combination of technical accounting expertise, business development acumen, and strong leadership skills. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing strategic advice and delivering high-quality audit services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services that comply with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and identifying opportunities for business development.
  3. Supervise and mentor a team of auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to client service, identifying cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
  5. Provide technical accounting advice to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of GAAP and other relevant regulations.
  6. Continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of audit processes and procedures, implementing improvements where necessary.
  7. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations, ensuring the team's practices remain compliant and up-to-date.
  8. Contribute to the strategic direction of the Assurance & Advisory team, participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Active CPA license is required.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an audit supervisory role within the finance industry.
  3. Strong technical accounting skills, with a solid understanding of GAAP and other relevant regulations.
  4. Proven experience in business development, with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth.
  5. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of auditors.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic advice to clients.
  8. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
