Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Design and develop plans and specifications for various transportation structures including highway and railroad bridges, retaining walls, and box culverts in compliance with AASHTO and FDOT standards.

Manage tasks and projects within set budgets and timelines, both independently and as part of a team, with moderate supervision.

Prepare engineering cost estimates, scopes of work, and proposals, while assisting other project managers with similar responsibilities.

Lead and guide project teams to deliver high-quality technical services.

Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout project execution.

Complete necessary training and development on assigned tasks.

Conduct occasional site visits, which may involve working outdoors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida, or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.

10+ years of experience with various bridge types, including structural steel, prestressed, and cast-in-place concrete.

Proficiency with FDOT standards, specifications, and design manuals.

Skilled in using structural analysis and design software for bridge projects.

Proficient in MicroStation and Open Bridge Modeler.

Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills.
