We are a leading player in the manufacturing industry, seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about people, policies, and productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR functions, including compensation & benefits, HR policies, and employee relations. Responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  3. Managing the recruitment and selection process to ensure a high caliber and diverse workforce.
  4. Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  5. Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  6. Nurturing a positive working environment by ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
  7. Overseeing and administering employee compensation, benefit programs, and HR policies.
  8. Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  9. Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics.
  10. Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  2. People-oriented and results-driven with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  3. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  4. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  6. Proficient in compensation & benefits, HR policies, and employee relations.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Masters in HRM will be a plus.
  8. HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
