The Assistant General Counsel - Immigration will provide legal advice on immigration laws to corporate and business units. This attorney will handle immigration cases and issues related to corporate personnel. This attorney handles employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, analyzes, evaluates and prepares key immigration legal documents including H-1B, L-1, TN and PERM labor certifications. This attorney determines and prepares appropriate immigrant visa petitions. This attorney troubleshoots and resolves complex legal issues and drafts complex case matters including support letters, audit responses, and appeals. This attorney organizes and schedules cases on a priority basis, supervises and follows cases from inception to completion within the stipulated timeframe and reviews and approves documents and filings for accuracy.Qualifications

Education and Work ExperienceRequired qualifications:J.D. from ABA Accredited Law SchoolMember in Good Standing of State Bar of California (preferably California).Preferred qualifications:Minimum of five (5) years of prior legal experience handling employment-based immigration matters.Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $153,753.60 to $249,600.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.Connect With Us!
