Position Overview

The Vice President of Sales and Business Solutions will drive the strategic direction, execution, and management of the sales organization at Medallion. This hands-on role is focused on accelerating revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing client relationships while leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team. The VP of Sales will work collaboratively with the executive team to align sales strategies with the company’s overall vision and objectives, leveraging our award-winning services, industry-leading innovation, and cutting-edge building maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities Sales Plan, Leadership, and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue growth and market expansion goals. Lead the sales team to expand market presence and drive business development in key customer segments. Conduct quarterly sales objective reviews, deploy sales quotas, and align geographical and financial goals. Lead, mentor, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to maximize their performance.

Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets, focusing on expanding Medallion's footprint across various industries. Target new business opportunities and market segments, expanding the company's customer base through a disciplined customer segmentation framework. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and IFM/PM leaders, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration to support customer acquisition and retention efforts.

Alliance Partnership & Thought Leadership: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, understanding customer needs and tailoring service offerings to provide exceptional value and service. Champion innovative approaches to sales and service delivery, staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating best practices into the sales plan. Attend industry association events and other functions to promote the company’s presence and drive growth.

Sales Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor sales performance, forecast revenue, and identify trends. Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales progress and market dynamics. Prepare and present CRM-driven sales reports, and conduct pipeline reviews, forecasts, and weekly performance metrics for the executive team. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in the sales process. Other duties as assigned per business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven track record of at least 10-15 years of successful B2B sales experience in the facilities services industry, with a consistent history of exceeding sales targets. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a leadership or management role, demonstrating the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with a hunter mindset and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using data-driven insights to inform decisions. Proficiency in CRM software and proven ability to manage end to end customer pipeline to close in CRM. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events in and out of state. Background check, e-verify required. Compensation
