Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
BrioHealth Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Research and Development team. The ideal candidate will lead and support projects from initial concept through verification and validation testing, culminating in manufacturing. This individual will leverage a diverse range of technical skills to design and analyze mechanical systems, oversee testing procedures, enhance product features, and meticulously document findings.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support engineering projects from concept to completion.
Demonstrate proficiency in critical decision-making, technical analysis, and project leadership.
Perform various engineering tasks including stress and strain analysis, heat transfer assessment, kinematics evaluation, and system design.
Utilize software tools (CAD, FEA) to design and analyze mechanical components.
Stay updated with cutting-edge technologies and fabrication techniques.
Identify root causes of technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Design and conduct verification and validation tests to ensure product meets quality and performance requirements.
Complete comprehensive documentation associated with project deliverables.
Integrate academic and experiential knowledge to develop innovative solutions.
Communicate effectively across a multi-site, global organization.
Work closely with and provide support to Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Marketing teams as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5-10 years of engineering experience in Research and Development, or a Master’s Degree plus five years of related experience.
Proficiency in the FDA Quality System Regulation and experience in a regulated industry preferred.
Familiarity with medical electronics design, cardiovascular physiology, pathophysiology, and biologic interfaces advantageous.
Exceptional team leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Positive outlook, innovative thinking, and self-sufficiency in problem-solving.
Knowledge and experience in computer-aided design and simulation, SolidWorks preferred.
