Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
The Role
Netflix is releasing content at a pace and scale unlike any studio or broadcast channel in history: all around the world, at the same time for over 270 million members. With so many different titles to choose from across such a range of tastes and cultural standards, our members need the information and context to be able to tell at a glance that what they’re watching is appropriate for their household.
We are looking for an experienced professional for the Partnerships division of our Ratings team. You will serve as the UCAN and LATAM ratings classification expert and as an in-house conduit to ratings boards. In addition, you will support the development and execution of the global PMR communications strategy.
This is a highly cross-functional role. You will work closely with Public Policy, Legal, Marketing, and Communications Teams to develop our ratings strategy in UCAN and LATAM as well as our global games ratings strategy. You will also work with members of the broader Product organization, such as Consumer Insights, Operations, Globalization, and Engineering to execute on our overall maturity ratings strategy.
This role will report into the Director Of Ratings and Partnerships and will be based in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities

Project manage ongoing board engagements in UCAN and LATAM, including the Motion Picture Association, and initiatives to improve our ratings programs in the region

Lead research initiatives in support of Netflix’s ratings strategy
Support the development and implementation of the PMR communications strategy
Educate internal and external partners on the Netflix ratings framework and the work of PMR
Qualifications
7+ years in relevant fields, such as Policy Compliance, Communications, Crisis Response, Trust & Safety
Extensive experience in highly cross-functional roles gaining buy-in, alignment, and context from a variety of stakeholders
Excellent project, program, and stakeholder management skills with a proven track record for operational excellence and relationship building
Strong verbal and written communicator and adept at presenting to external stakeholders
Great judgment and decisiveness when dealing with timely, deadline-driven, content-related issues and concerns
Strategic thinking, able to identify potential issues and propose solutions
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Critical thinking/problem solving skills and an aptitude for analyzing trends in data
Experience working with the Google Suite and AirTable
Knowledge of, and adherence to, global ratings boards’ standards for both movies and games is preferred
Proficiency in communication design of presentations, slides, internal documentation
