Remote AWS Engineer

An employer is seeking an AWS Engineer to join their team remotely based in EST. This is open because the client is upgrading their on-prem contact center to a completely cloud based contact center. The AWS Engineer will be coming in at the beginning of this project and will be tasked with helping stand up this new cloud based contact center using Amazon Connect. The AWS Engineer will be responsible for hands on development as well as making suggestions and architectural documents and documentation review. The ideal resource should have done this type of migration/upgrade project in the past, and will work closely with matrixed teams and vendors assisting in the project work. This person will leverage and utilize various Amazon tools such as Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Workmail, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Connect Contact Lens, AWS Lambda API and others in order to properly upgrade to this cloud based contact center. They will work closely with the vendor to manage changes once the project moves into the operational phase, and will act as the primary point of contact for delivery and updates.

8+ years of experience as an AWS Engineer/ArchitectExtensive experience with Amazon ConnectPreviously performed an upgrade/migration project to Amazon ConnectUtilized various other Amazon technologies including: Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Workmail, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Connect Contact Lens, AWS Lambda APIPerformed knowledge transfer to get internal team members up to speed with the project and technologies being leveraged
