Salary Range : $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary/yearDescription:Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this position will provide HR support throughout the organization, representing the HR function and working closely with business leaders in driving organization plans aimed at achieving results through people and people operations. This role will apply operational and strategic-level HR practices and programs to attract, retain, and motivate key talent. Additionally, as an employee and labor relations specialist, this position plays a pivotal role in managing employee investigations, handling labor disputes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The position will work to foster positive relationships between employees and management while supporting initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee engagement. The Human Resources Business Partner will collaborate with senior leaders and managers to drive business effectiveness initiatives and strategies, contributing to a high-performing business and team.Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Execute strategic HR plans into critical actions, programs, and initiatives.Partner with site operations, HR, and corporate leaders to oversee, coach, and manage employee activities, shape culture, and drive engagement.Manage front-line, regional operations support for employee relations, on/off boarding, leave management, safety, benefits administration, data management, labor relations, immigration, and reporting.Partner with managers and employees to facilitate positive interactions and effective outcomes for matters including performance coaching, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and communications. Provide strategic employee relations support, business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization.Triage employee relations casework identifying potential solutions to address different case types and actions appropriately using guidelines.Conduct investigations for workplace issues in a timely manner applying appropriate investigation plans, interviewing techniques with supporting documentation and outcome conclusion summaries.Provide detailed case management documentation, executive summaries, and timelines written with precision and clearly identified next steps and recommended remediation strategies.Administers and manages the administration of labor contracts; provides interpretation of labor contracts to managers, employees, and HR staff; assists processes for review and resolution of employee grievances.Proactively assess team and manager developmental needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.Review, interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures partnering with legal on any agency charge responses.Assign required training and ensure compliance for all levels of employees. Assists in conducting new hire orientations and facilitates training sessions.Assist in managing effective compensation equity and succession planning processes for employees.Ensure effective talent attraction and management including recruitment, assessment, and development.May be involved to various degrees in the identification of current and future talent needs, trends, and strategies; improving existing processes; recommending best practices & solutions and in the implementation of Talent Management projects and initiatives often in collaboration with and/or leveraging all functionalities of the Paycom ATS.Assist in building analytics into Human Resources systems, monitoring and driving results gathering insights to continuously improve.Improve operational rigor by establishing consistent processes and best practices across the HR team.All other duties as assigned by VP Human Resources.Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.High attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines.Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in drafting and updating professional documentation and policies.Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multi-channel, detail-oriented work environment.Experience working with a diverse workforce.Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position as it requires face-to-face interaction.Can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments and deadlines.Must be flexible with schedule when needed or requested by Supervisor.Ability to always exercise confidentiality.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related discipline preferred.Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner preferably within Building Maintenance, Facility Services, or a comparable industry.PHR or SPHR-CP certification preferred.Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and compliance.Experience in employee & labor relations and managing complex employee investigations.Strong proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other relevant software.Proficient in the use of HRIS, HCM, and payroll platforms, preferably Paycom.Fluency in Spanish as a second language required.Background check, EVERIFY required.
