This position will focus on providing mental health assessments, counseling services, and clinical testing to a diverse patient population.Location DetailsAddress: 1000 Euclid Avenue National City CA 91950Clinic Hours: M-F, 8:30am-5:30pm ( Closed for lunch 12:15-1:15pm )Website: National City Family Health Center | Clinic Locations (fhcsd.org)Pay and Benefits$120,000-$150,000 Starting Annual Salary$7,000 Hiring Bonus$25,000 in Student Loan Reimbursement$25,000 in Tuition AssistanceHybrid position structure with both in office and remote workRetirement Plan with 50% Employer MatchAnnual Raises, CEU Stipend, and Career GrowthPaid Time Off, Extended Sick Leave and Paid HolidaysMedical/Dental/Vision/FSA/Life Insurance$3,000 in Relocation AssistanceEmployee Discounts, Wellness Programs, Pet Insurance, and moreDuties and Responsibilities:Perform age-appropriate psychological testing, including creation of summary reports.Perform initial and ongoing assessments for assigned patients.Participate in development of patients' individualized care plans.Provide clinical testing for patients.Provide treatment to assigned patients within scope of practice, meeting program/department productivity and quality standards.Demonstrate awareness of transference and counter-transference issues and address them as they arise.Address co-occurring disorders, factoring them into the patient's treatment plan.Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Communicate with providers, physicians, case managers, scheduling staff, referring providers, and with outside agencies and authorities, in a timely and appropriate manner. Connect patients to internal/external resources as appropriate; accurately document referrals.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Active registration in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with the BBS in California required.Psychological testing experience required.Work EnvironmentFHCSD's services are all outpatient and designed for those struggling with mild to moderate acuity levels. You will have support from other therapists, case managers, a scheduling team, administrators, and a wide range of other medical professionals in our facilities. The Mental Health Department strives to create an inclusive community that fosters teamwork and continuous learning. In addition to a structured orientation process, all newly hired therapists participate in our Buddy Program so you have a designated peer to help you adjust and succeed in your new position.#MentalHealthIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.$120,000.00 - $151,185.00If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
