Position Overview:

The National Marketing Manager will execute impactful national marketing campaigns that drive business growth and increase brand recognition. This role involves collaborating with regional teams to customize campaigns for local markets, ensuring alignment with national strategies and regional objectives. The National Marketing Manager will oversee campaign execution, track performance metrics, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and lead both regional marketing teams and external agency partnerships. The successful candidate will ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet desired outcomes while maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Oversight:

Lead and manage national marketing campaigns.

Oversee key initiatives, including new product launches, in-store consumer experiences, in-field events, and budtender programming.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for campaign execution, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all marketing efforts.

Manage marketing calendars and timelines in collaboration with Sales & Product teams to ensure adherence to schedules.

Manage relationships with PR and digital agencies, ensuring alignment with national and regional campaigns.

Regional Campaign Customization:

Collaborate with regional teams to tailor national campaigns for local markets while maintaining overall strategy alignment.

Ensure brand consistency in marketing communications and attract prospective and retain existing customers.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Execute and analyze large campaigns, focusing on ROI and key performance metrics.

Provide comprehensive reports and actionable insights to senior leadership, focusing on campaign performance and budget utilization.

Strategy Development:

Contribute to the development of the overall marketing strategy, aligning campaigns with broader business goals.

Ensure national and regional marketing efforts support the company's long-term strategic vision.

Regional Team Management:

Oversee and support regional marketing teams, ensuring alignment with national strategies and regional objectives.

Manage regional marketing budgets and provide regular updates on budget performance.

Oversee the procurement, budgeting, and distribution of marketing materials and promotional items across all regions.

Customer Insights and Market Research:

Gather and analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities to inform campaign development.

Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for new campaigns or enhancements to existing ones.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or a related industry.

5+ years of experience in team management, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

Proven experience in developing and executing national and regional marketing campaigns.

Expertise in using marketing analytics tools to track performance, optimize campaigns, and generate insights.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience mentoring and developing staff.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Proficient in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, PR, and in-store initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Experience in budget management and financial reporting with a focus on maximizing ROI.

Ability to develop and implement SOPs and manage complex marketing calendars and timelines.
