is looking for a
Director of Sales
that is passionate about hospitality for our
NEWLY RENOVATED HAMPTON INN MORGAN HILL.Individuals located within the Morgan Hill/Silicon Valley/Gilroy market with a strong knowledge of Hilton Brands is preferred.Responsibilities
Spends more than 50% of workday/week away from the office prospecting new sales leads by identifying, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with key clients.Identifies and seeks out potential business in local market. Maintains relationships with local companies and key people to increase the hotel’s visibility within the local market.Focuses prime selling time (10a – 3p) on direct sales efforts only.Creates and manages sales solicitations and presentations specific to property/brand.Negotiates all aspects of the sales contract to leverage profitability while also achieving client’s expectations.Maintains positive STAR report numbers in areas of occupancy, average daily rate, and Revpar.Assists in the development of property budgets and forecasts, operating within them.Develops and maintains market awareness to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive sales strategies.Achieves budgeted revenue goals consistently by utilizing the training, tools, and procedures provided.Consistently calls on potential customers; making in-person visits a minimum of two to three days per week and following the company-established procedures.Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 3 year(s) of hospitality sales and or management experience.Ability to organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.Benefits/Perks
