The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.The Technology Integration Specialist (TIS) is responsible for assisting teachers with integration of technology into the Chelmsford Public Schools curriculum, and with assisting students with using technology to consume and create content. The TIS will also be responsible for planning and implementing staff professional development, training staff in any new technology initiatives, and performing regular interaction with curriculum tools to assist staff. The TIS will prepare documentation and videos to guide users through the use of various technologies and report to the Director Of Information Communication and Technology Services about lab/cart use and training schedules.General Scope of Responsibilities

Implement and meet technology goals to ensure all schools integrate technology into teaching and learning in an equitable manner for all students, and provide meaningful professional learning opportunities for staff.Performance Responsibilities

Assist and guide schools with the planning and delivery of innovative technology professional development for staff and instructional programs for students.Plan and author technology plans that support curriculum development efforts.Develop and expand technology programs to enhance student achievement.Offer staff development workshops to implement technology opportunities for all students.Assist other technology team members with the installation and deployment of equipment/software.Support all curriculum tools (apps/online curriculum/books/tools/testing/etc.) as needed.Support teachers, students, and parents with technology-related questions and issues.Attend various technology workshops and conferences.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of ICTS.Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred.Certification as an Instructional Technology Specialist or DLCS in Massachusetts.Minimum 3 years of experience in a school setting or relevant experience.Working knowledge of current educational standards and relevant technology standards (i.e., ISTE).Experience with PC/Mac/Chromebook/tablet repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.Expertise with all Google for Education products.Experience with student information systems and training users on gradebooks.Experience in various operating systems (Windows, Mac, Chrome, Android).Experience with video delivery systems and online meeting/collaboration systems.Experience with interactive classroom technologies (i.e., ClearTouch, Smart, Eno, Promethean).Experience in training adults and students in the proper use of various technologies.Experience in customer support and service.Experience with web tools and website maintenance.Understanding of networks, security, and best practices for maintaining network integrity.Knowledge and experience installing/deploying hardware and diagnosing technology-related issues.Must be a positive team player with superior communication skills.Ability to design, implement, and support innovative programs/trainings for technology integration.Preference may be given to applicants with experience in a 1:1 environment, Help Desk experience, technology certifications, experience teaching online and hybrid courses, and Google management system experience.Application Questions
