O2C Brands is a mid-size consumer products company with two offices, one warehouse, and approximately sixty employees in the U.S., Canada, and China.

Hybrid position with 3 days in the Chicago headquarters office.

How You Will Contribute

Direct and oversee all finance/accounting functions including cash management, bank relationships, analysis, compliance, payroll, and more.

Develop and update short and long term strategic financial objectives.

Provide timely and accurate business reporting including cash flow, analysis of budget position with forecasting, capital position, financial trends.

Produce month-end Board package.

Evaluate and advise on impacts/introduction of new products, programs, and strategies.

Develop and maintain shareholder, investor, and lender relationships.

Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Manage, evaluate, and advise on company and shareholder liability.

Coordinate internal and third-party audit processes and procedures.

Provide analysis, communication, and data to internal and external partners.

Oversee IT function; oversee system upgrades/development (MS Great Plains).

Manage inventory demand planning.

Maintain Company intellectual property assets.

Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA preferred.

10+ years of experience in progressively responsible accounting roles, preferably in consumer products.

5+ years of experience with multi-income statement (division/P&L) responsibility.

Experience with distribution, manufacturing, PE, M&A, and/or ERP a plus.

Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting concepts and experience in their application.

Microsoft Great Plains experience a plus.
