Account ManagerRemote - North AmericaConvergix Automation Solutions is a growing $300M+ Automation Systems Integrator looking for an Account Manager with no overall compensation cap to support our future growth.The Account Manager position for Convergix Automation is responsible for achieving sales targets by creating, sustaining, and expanding business relationships and opportunities on a quarterly and annual basis with existing customers and new target prospects. This front-line role requires frequent client interaction in person, the ability to ask questions with ease, and the skill to both develop and execute Win Strategies.An "Account Leader" mindset is necessary, as you will be communicating with our engineering team to develop solutions that meet the customer's needs and ultimately leading the bid approval process and negotiating directly with clients.You must have prior success selling $1MM+ custom-engineered solutions, capital equipment and or materials to decision-makers, executives, and owners of Fortune 500-sized companies in a growing and highly competitive market against incumbent integrators.The Account Manager will be responsible for selling the entire Convergix platform of custom Automation Solutions in multiple industries, including but not limited to Life Sciences, Aerospace, Agriculture, Automotive, Consumer Products, Electric Vehicle, Energy, Furniture & Appliances, Logistics, Medical, Food Processing, Military, Recreational Vehicle and Transportation. What Would a Typical Day Look Like?Drive new and expand current business relationships with targeted prospects and customers across defined segments and applications.Plan weekly face-to-face customer visits throughout North America to both identify new business and gain intel on the opportunity.Develop strong relationships with important and prospective customers, including corporate, plant, and facility executives, as well as maintenance, production, and engineering staff.Drive the sales process externally with customers from prospecting to qualifying, development on the win strategy and value proposition in order to close the business.Actively engage in the internal selling process including frequent travel to each of the Convergix locations in North America (and Internationally when required). working together with the application engineering and business unit leadershipParticipate in or conduct weekly/monthly sales meetings to review the sales pipeline in CRMWhat Qualifies You for this Opportunity?College degree (Business or Engineering), or equivalent work experience5+ years' experience in custom-engineered solutions, capital equipment and or materials, preferably in Automation Integration and Robotic applicationsYou overcome early resistance and uncover real problems to secure quality first meetings with strategy and a purpose.
