12+ months contract

Requirements:•Availability to work 3 days per week at the Client's site in

Houston, TX

(required);•Experience with ETL tools and possesses deep understanding of SSRS and SSIS;•Experience working with SSIS packages;•Experience in database performance monitoring and tuning;•Experience performing database consolidation projects and systems integration development;•Experience working as SQL Server DBA and SQL developer;•Experience with hands on development .NET Core-based application in C# in a medium to large environments;•Experience developing on Microsoft platforms, frameworks, and tools (ASP.NET, ASP. NET MVC) and Microsoft SQL Server;•Experience with Windows Services, Web Services and API development.

Preferred:•Deregulated Retail Energy (ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, NEPOOL) experience.

Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following:•Designing and developing SSIS / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems for processing;•Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another;•Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process;•Architect and build highly scalable .NET applications through all phases of the development lifecycle (initial designs to production deployments);•Maintain up-to-date documentation of all procedures, infrastructure diagrams, system configuration and baseline standards, implementation plans, system back out plans, system recovery plans, maintenance plans, system upgrades, and all system changes;•Maintain security hardened baseline configurations and deploy security (patches), software maintenance (patches) and new software releases and supporting products infrastructure as directed;•Conduct Data flow performance testing and support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans.
