Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Dot Net Developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-quality, and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As a Dot Net Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external-facing web applications. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to build enterprise systems that improve business productivity and support business operations. The candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and how to integrate them into our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Participate in requirements analysisCollaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architectureWrite clean, scalable code using .NET programming languagesTest and deploy applications and systemsRevise, update, refactor and debug codeImprove existing softwareDevelop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical supportDesign, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codeEnsure the best possible performance and quality of applicationsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issuesHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationWork with Azure cloud services and integrate them with various applicationsQualifications:
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application DeveloperFamiliarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC))Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)Understanding of Agile methodologiesStrong attention to detailExcellent troubleshooting and communication skillsKnowledge of REST and RPC APIsExperience with Azure, including Web Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, WebJobs, Azure Functions, and Azure Managed IdentityExperience with continuous integration/deployment environmentsAble to work well in a team settingBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer AssociateExperience with scalable cloud applicationsProficiency in building web applications and APIs in AzureExperience with live production environmentsFamiliarity with the Azure CLI and Powershell scripts
