Job PurposeAs Senior Technical Consultant, you will be responsible to resolve technical challenges, through projects for custom developments, Code reviews, use case creation, and technical documentation delivery.Key AccountabilitiesThe key accountabilities of this role encompass duties that principally relate to the job purpose and may include other duties that are incidental or peripheral to the job purpose.Duties of this role will include but are not limited to the following:Direct communication with customersFollowing up with project managers and other team members.Provide custom developments over Open LMS and MoodleDeliver code reviews of third-party Moodle pluginsTranslate customer requirements in use casesSupport, maintain and document technical requirementsHelp on internal initiatives focus principally to improve customer experiences and processesKey Result AreasPerformance objectives are based on the key accountabilities above and are aligned to organisational and team objectives. Individual performance measures and behavioral standards will be discussed and reviewed on a periodic basis in accordance with the Open LMS Performance Development Policy and Procedure.Job CriteriaHas a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceHas experience in PHP object oriented programming 3+ years outside of university/equivalent work experienceHas excellent problem-solving skillsHas excellent writing, communication, and analytical skillsKnowledge in PHP/PostgreSQL/JavascriptExperience using Git-flowKnowledge in Behat and PHP Unit automated testingEnglish communication required (B1)Experience in Moodle developmentExperience in new technologies to develop in Frontend or Backend (for internal initiatives) like Nodejs or Angularjs.Experience working with project delivery.Self-paced courses certifications related to the developmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, colour, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
