We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and experienced Tax Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all tax matters within the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and provide tax advisory services to the organization.
  • Manage the preparation of financial reports, ensuring they comply with international tax laws.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and assist in financial analysis.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors, representing the company in any tax audits or disputes.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring the company's financial operations remain compliant.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree such as a Master's or a professional certification such as a CPA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Proven expertise in tax accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in tax preparation, including corporate tax, indirect taxation, and international tax.
  • Proficiency in tax planning and the ability to develop effective tax strategies.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to conduct thorough tax research and provide sound tax advisory services.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex tax information clearly and effectively.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
