Responsibilities:

As a Quality Control Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the quality control operations, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
2. Approving requests for new procedures, materials, and equipment to improve the quality control process.
3. Leading special QC projects aimed at enhancing product quality and improving manufacturing processes.
4. Conducting regular quality reviews of operations, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
5. Evaluating new vendors, ensuring they meet our stringent quality requirements, and managing ongoing relationships.
6. Collaborating with other departments to integrate quality control processes throughout the organization.
7. Developing and implementing quality control policies and procedures.
8. Managing and training the quality control team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
10. Working with senior management to set quality benchmarks and KPIs.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in approving requests, leading special QC projects, conducting quality reviews, evaluating new vendors, and managing operations.
3. A thorough understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving performance and fostering a positive work environment.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. A degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance.
8. Certifications in quality control or operations management, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, would be an asset.
