Are you an experienced tax professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are a leading finance company seeking a Permanent Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage and coordinate tax strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will be working on complex tax assignments that will require your technical skills, leadership abilities, and business acumen.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (1120s, Individual, Corporations) ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  2. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.
  3. Conducting research on various tax matters; utilizing tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters.
  4. Responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies and conducting tax audits.
  5. Providing leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
  6. Collaborating with the team to improve client services and firm processes.
  7. Staying updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance and provide top-notch service to our clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Tax Senior position should have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is highly desirable.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on tax.
  3. Experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (1120s, Individual, Corporations).
  4. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
  5. Excellent research and writing skills, and proficiency in tax preparation software.
  6. Strong leadership, teamwork, and client service skills.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
