Job Details:

Our law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on a variety of cases, including Business and Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Insurance Defense, Employment Law, Real Estate, and Commercial Litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial practice, and writing. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys who are committed to providing excellent legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial practice.
2. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
3. Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
4. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
5. Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
6. Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients or to prepare cases.
7. Consult with colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
8. Negotiate settlements in civil litigation.
9. Maintain knowledge of current developments in legal field and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice in the state of CA.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in the areas of Business and Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Insurance Defense, Employment Law, Real Estate, and Commercial Litigation.
4. Proven experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial practice.
5. Excellent writing, communication, research, and analytical skills.
6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
8. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
10. Strong sense of professional discretion and confidentiality.
