Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure projects within our healthcare facilities. You will be tasked with ensuring that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on projects that directly impact healthcare delivery and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, parking lots, and sidewalks within healthcare facilities.
2. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
3. Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
4. Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
5. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
6. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
8. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
9. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 2 years of civil engineering experience, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
4. Proficient in design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
5. Project management and supervision skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
8. An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability.
9. Demonstrated understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
10. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
11. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards in the medical industry.
12. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate a passion for excellence and innovation.
13. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
14. Excellent mathematical, IT, and analytical skills.
15. Strong team working and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
16. Excellent knowledge of relevant health and safety measures.
