Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

National law firm looking for an Associate Attorney to join the firm’s Medical Malpractice group. The group is a defense trial practice representing hospitals and medical professionals in professional liability/medical malpractice lawsuits.

Responsibilities

• Taking and defending depositions.
• Conducting written discovery and research.
• Drafting pleadings and motions.
• Participating in trial preparation.
• Representing clients in court.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice litigation.
• Second chair experience is preferred.
• Trial experience in personal injury or products liability areas is beneficial.
• Excellent skills in written and oral communication, legal and factual analysis, as well as negotiation and advocacy.
• An interest in developing business and expanding the current practice.
