Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. This is a permanent role that will require you to oversee all aspects of quality assurance within our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the medical device and manufacturing sectors, with a deep understanding of Six Sigma methodologies, ISO 13485, and GD&T. An engineering degree is required for this role, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Quality Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing quality control systems that align with our company's business objectives.
  2. Collaborating with operational teams to identify and address potential areas of improvement, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  4. Conducting regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of our quality control systems.
  5. Ensuring that all activities comply with ISO 13485 and other relevant quality standards.
  6. Providing technical guidance and support to our manufacturing team, helping them to understand and apply GD&T principles effectively.
  7. Participating in the design and development of medical devices, ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.
  8. Preparing detailed reports on quality control activities for senior management and external auditors.
  9. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the finance industry, ensuring that our quality control systems remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  2. A minimum of five years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally within the finance industry.
  3. Proven experience with medical device manufacturing and quality control.
  4. Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies, ISO 13485, and GD&T.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
  7. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality under pressure.
  8. Proficiency with MS Office and other common business software.
  9. A proactive attitude, with the ability to take the initiative and drive continuous improvement within our organization.
