Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will play a crucial role in our organization, taking charge of our financial operations and ensuring we meet our fiscal objectives. Responsibilities:

As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements in line with GAAP principles.
2. Leading and mentoring a team of junior accountants and finance professionals.
3. Working closely with the manufacturing department to understand cost drivers and implement cost control measures.
4. Managing the general ledger and conducting monthly and yearly closings.
5. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
6. Leveraging ERP systems, preferably SAP, to streamline and automate financial operations.
7. Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Analyzing financial data and preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
9. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
10. Participating in special projects and implementing financial best practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Profound knowledge of GAAP and experience with general ledger functions.
4. Proven experience with ERP systems, with SAP being highly desirable.
5. Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring teams.
6. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
