Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

We extract salt by drilling wells into underground brine deposits. It then processes the brine to remove impurities and evaporates the water to produce high-quality salt. This salt is used for various purposes, including industrial, food-grade, and water treatment applications.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in Hamer equipment to support the maintenance operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery, with a specific focus on Hamer and Hansen equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Hamer equipment and other machinery as needed.

Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or potential improvements to the maintenance supervisor or manager.

Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for the maintenance of Hansen and Hamer equipment.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize disruptions and ensure machinery operates at peak performance.

Assist in the installation, inspection, and repair of new and existing equipment.

Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.

Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment history.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with expertise in maintaining and repairing Hamer equipment.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and procedures.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Basic understanding of safety and compliance standards.

Technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Familiarity with Hamer gearboxes, motors, or other specific Hamer machinery.

Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) software
