As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at our firm, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and operations. You will oversee the complete spectrum of financial management, ensuring the firm’s financial health and sustainability. This role involves strategic oversight, data-driven decision-making, and direct collaboration with the Managing Partner to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Direct and manage all aspects of the firm’s financial operations, including cash flow management, capital expenditures, debt levels, and taxation.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the finance staff, fostering a high-performance environment and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the firm’s financial strategy, proposing actionable plans to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Operational Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial and operational controls and metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and create comprehensive models to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
• Reporting: Prepare and present internal reports on receivables, payables, and other critical financial metrics. Ensure accuracy in compiling, researching, and analyzing complex financial information, including 401(k) data.
• Strategic Execution: Implement financial strategies and initiatives designed to drive growth and reduce expenditures, contributing to the firm’s long-term success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Accounting Software Proficiency: Extensive experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
• Spreadsheet Expertise: Advanced skills in creating and maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets.
• Judgment and Analysis: Ability to apply independent judgment, common sense, and accounting principles to tasks and decision-making.
• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly desirable.
