Salary: $32 - $36 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of millwork engineering. This role involves creating detailed designs, overseeing the manufacturing process, and ensuring the highest quality of millwork products. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop detailed millwork products using Woodcadcam, Woodcad, and Cadcam.
  2. Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring all products meet the standards set by the Architectural Woodworking Institute (AWI).
  3. Utilize your expertise in cabinetry, furniture, and other woodwork to create high-quality products.
  4. Operate CNC machines and use software like Microvellum, AutoCAD, Inventor, Autodesk, Mozaik for designing and manufacturing purposes.
  5. Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  6. Ensure all millwork products are manufactured to the highest quality, meeting all industry standards and regulations.
  7. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process and devise effective solutions.
  8. Constantly review and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, with a focus on cabinetry and furniture.
  3. Proficient in Woodcadcam, Woodcad, Cadcam, and other relevant software.
  4. Extensive experience in operating CNC machines.
  5. Knowledge of Microvellum, AutoCAD, Inventor, Autodesk, Mozaik software is a must.
  6. In-depth understanding of AWI standards and regulations.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  9. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a team.
  10. Proven track record of improving manufacturing processes and product quality.
