Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our high-tech financial equipment. This is a permanent role that offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, PLC programming, mechanical and electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor programs that drive year-over-year increases in safety and ergonomics and reductions in workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting to maintain automated systems.
  • Use precision measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and provide timely solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, learning, and applying lean methods and contribute to the identification and elimination of waste.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, PLC programming, mechanical systems, electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools.
  • Excellent understanding of industrial control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift and weekends, if necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
