Job Details:

We are in search of a dynamic Site Safety Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry for a quick project. This role is vital to the success of our operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce on construction sites. Our ideal candidate is one who is passionate about safety, has a keen eye for detail, and is adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the company's safety policies and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the company’s safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
2. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3. Provide training and education to personnel on safety protocols and procedures.
4. Lead investigation and reporting of all incidents (accidents, near misses, etc.), identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to safety measures, incidents, and inspections.
6. Provide advice and consultation to construction site management regarding safety compliance.
7. Coordinate with project managers and other construction staff to ensure the safety of all team members.
8. Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal safety laws to ensure the company is always in compliance and to prevent potential legal issues.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines.
5. First Aid/CPR certified.
6. Proven ability to develop and implement safety programs.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and train personnel on safety procedures.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
9. Demonstrated ability to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
