Salary: $100,000 - $2,500,000 per year

Job Details:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Datacenter Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to design and implement cutting-edge datacenter solutions for our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing the installation of datacenter infrastructure systems such as cooling, power systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications distribution systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement datacenter solutions, including cooling, power systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications distribution systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the integration of datacenter infrastructure with the overall construction project.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of datacenter designs, including diagrams, specifications, and operational instructions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed datacenter solutions.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of datacenter systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for datacenter systems, including resolving any issues that may arise during the construction or operation phases.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in datacenter technology and infrastructure, applying this knowledge to improve our datacenter solutions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in datacenter design and management, specifically within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in datacenter cooling, power systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of datacenter standards and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex datacenter projects on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Vendor management experience, with a strong understanding of the procurement process for datacenter equipment and materials.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, including CAD and project management tools.
