They will work closely with subject matter experts, process owners, and stakeholders across the organization. The instructional design role will identify learning needs, create objectives, and design engaging and interactive content. Content must integrate adult learning principles and should align to business goals and values. Learning topics may include new employee onboarding, professional skills, leadership skills, functional/technical skills, systems knowledge, and process knowledge.Responsibilities

Analyze learning needs and performance gaps of the target audience and propose appropriate learning solutions.Design and develop learning content using various modalities, such as e-learning, instructor-led training, webinars, videos, podcasts, simulations, games, etc.Apply instructional design principles, adult learning theories, such as ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Kirkpatrick's Three Levels of Evaluation, and best practices to create effective and engaging learning experiences.Use authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc. to create and edit learning content.Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to review and validate learning content to ensure accuracy and relevance.Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning solutions using various methods, such as surveys, quizzes, feedback, analytics, etc.Lead multiple projects and manage priorities and tasks to meet deadlines and expectations ensuring timely completion.Stay updated on the latest trends, technology and innovations in learning and development and share best practices and insights with the team.Process all other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education:Masters in Instructional Design or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in instructional design, education equivalent work experience required.Experience/Knowledge:5+ years of training and learning/development experience.3+ years of experience in designing, developing, enhancing and revising learning solutions for various audiences and topics in a corporate environment.Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices.Knowledge of life insurance products and concepts preferred.Skills:Advanced writing, editing, graphic design and instructional design skills.Excellent oral communication skills.Advanced proficiency with authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc., to create and edit learning content.Knowledge of current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.Experience in the use of Learning Management System Software.Experience working with SCORM standard.Ability to design to SCORM structure.Extremely organized, detail-oriented and accurate.Strong project management skills with drive to meet deadlines.Strong ability to work with minimal direction, both independently and in collaboration with others.Creative, innovative, and learner-centric mindset with a passion for training.Strong analytical skills.Strong work ethic and customer focus orientation.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Intermediate skills in Power Point Presentation).What's in it for you?

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $76,600 - $105,325 annually. The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses. This role is eligible to participate in the Legal & General America Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 8% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 15 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.We have a competitive compensation and benefits package focused on your overall wellbeing.
