Regulatory Compliance Officer

Join our team as a Regulatory Compliance Officer, ensuring Yggdrasil remains compliant with all current and future license requirements.What You'll Do:Ensure that Yggdrasil maintains its current licenses, including the Great Britain, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Romanian, Greece, Swedish, Danish and Belgian licenses, by remaining compliant with all obligations imposed on Yggdrasil under such licenses held.Manage the day-to-day compliance activities under such licenses by carrying out the mandatory reporting tasks, filing of annual returns, payment of license fees as well as all ad-hoc requests and communication in relation to the regulatory authorities.Monitor the regulatory developments in Yggdrasil’s prospective/targeted jurisdictions and assess, and communicate to the wider organization, all relevant regulatory changes affecting Yggdrasil.Provide day-to-day support and gaming compliance advice to Yggdrasil’s commercial function by analysing, assessing, and otherwise evaluating new markets targeted by Yggdrasil, and/or markets where new licensing regimes are being planned or introduced.Manage and drive the process and project of acquiring new licenses and/or entering new jurisdictions, as applicable, by Yggdrasil.Keep internal compliance documentation and registers up to date.Review Remote Technical Standards documents and perform gap analysis.Liaise between Yggdrasil and the applicable regulatory authorities, and respond to regulatory authorities’ enquiries and requests.Proactively create strong, fruitful, and long-lasting regulatory relationships with key regulatory stakeholders.Work with the Product Compliance team to pass any audits.Act as the assigned MGA Internal audit key function holder.Who You Are:Minimum of 1 year of compliance experience working within the gaming industry.Excellent skills and proven experience from working across multiple jurisdictions, in particular Malta, Great Britain, Sweden, Gibraltar, Greece, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Denmark.Proven track record of participating in the mandatory compliance audits.Experience in analysing compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions and preparing GAP analyses.Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work on projects in parallel with multiple dependencies and tight deadlines.Must be a self-driven and intrinsically motivated individual with highly developed communication and negotiation skills.Extra Points For:Having B2B and/or test lab experience.Compliance Experience related to one or several of the following markets: United States; Colombia, Mexico, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal.Established good relations with the Great Britain Gambling Commission and/or the Malta Gaming Authority.Perks and Benefits:Gym Membership: Embrace a healthy lifestyle with our fully sponsored gym membership — because health is wealth!Wolt Vouchers: Enjoy delicious meals delivered to your doorstep with monthly Wolt vouchers.Hybrid Working: Experience the best of both worlds with our flexible hybrid working model.Leadership Development: Be one of the 25% of employees selected annually for our exclusive Leadership Development Program, offering targeted training and mentorship to boost your career.Private Healthcare: Access top-tier private healthcare services for you & your family.We are an equal opportunity employer.
